Hi I'm Chris Watson, I am a non-professional photographer and web site designer and have been interested in SLR photography for many years. Living in St. Pete Beach in Florida, I have an abundance of County and State Parks around me. The beach and the parks both provide me with endless opportunities for wildlife photography. I am slowly photographing my way around the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail (GFBWT) and, much of the work you'll see here is taken at GFBWT Sites. The GFWBT is a program of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. At its core, is a network of nearly 500 sites throughout Florida, selected for their excellent bird watching, wildlife viewing or educational opportunities. This 2,000-mile, self-guided highway trail, is designed to conserve and enhance Florida's wildlife habitats by promoting birding and wildlife viewing activities, conservation education and economic opportunity. As far as web site design is concerned, I have always enjoyed coding of one kind or another. I create my web sites using .xhtml .css .php and javascript. These are just different forms of coding but, with the additional benefit of being able to see the immediate, graphical impact of the code. I‘m constantly adding to the site contents so you‘ll undoubtedly see many changes over time.
